A MOVING EXHIBITION

 By Antria Pelekanou, chief curator

A Moving Exhibition is a travelling exhibition of art which enables artists and students, to showcase their artwork and through doing so enhance the travel experience for London visitors, and build on London’s reputation as a cultural and creative capital.

A moving exhibition's aim is to reach and engage an extensive and diverse community in the course of daily life by "moving London through art".  A Moving Exhibition is expanding access to public of the innovative creative arts projects and initiatives that exist within London.

As the artwork of A Moving Exhibition is open for public submission, both professional and novice artwork are published in the exhibition book.

The idea is to select eclectic artists to participate in an upcoming series of group shows that will take place in different venues in London.  The exhibitions and the artists participating will slightly change from one venue to another and by doing so the exhibition will progress and transform.  We have encouraged artists to use this as their theme in their submitting artwork although the theme was not strict.

The website has been specially designed for easy access over a mobile phone.

All Preview Days will be on a Thursday unless otherwise stated.  All Moving Exhibitions will last one week.
