ANTRIA PELEKANOU - Chief Curator
During my internship at the Lloyd Gill Gallery I have gained valuable information about how a gallery is run and got the exciting opportunity to curate my own exhibitions. I have received great publicity in magazines such as A-N, Aesthetica and some local newspapers. This has boosted my confidence to start a project I had in mind for years. A Moving Exhibition. An exhibition which will move from one location to another. I am also a Fine Artist, exhibited work in the UK as well as USA and Europe in the last five years. I am currently studying Fine Art at the University of East London, MASTERS Level.
The reason I have chosen to create this event is because I feel that I have to present an opportunity to art graduates that have completely left the art scene since graduating. This is also an exciting opportunity for current art students and professional artists. Another reason I have created this ambitious curatorial project, is because I will like to further my education to PHD level. This experience will enhance my knowledge and expertise in the Curatorial Practices and therefore I can choose the correct path for my future.

DAVID MARCHANT - Assistant Curator
A moving exhibition is a project that calls upon the work of artists from around the world to show their work in some of the most innovative and forward thinking art galleries in east london. My role as assistant curator is to select artwork for exhibition and promote a creative discourse in contemporary fine art that displays artistic inquiry into the contemporary world. The basis for my selection is not based only on aesthetic integrity but integrity of ideas, the thinking processes that lead to the ideas and the work's ability to function properly towards it's stated intentions. My role as assistant curator is also to work closely with the other curators, artists and gallery directors to ensure that the exhibitions notoriety is maximised in a strategic manner that satisfies the interests of the artists, galleries and other curators. The assistant curators are also responsible for assisting with the hanging and installation of the artist's work. Awareness about how space influences the functionality of the art will be thoroughly considered and done so intelligently.

NIMROD VARDI - Assistant Curator
Originally from Israel, Graduated from the metal art and design department At Bezalel academy in Jerusalem, and came to London to do my master degree in curating and art. I have exhibited in a few shows in Israel and South Korea, and was working as an exhibition designer and producer.I feel that this project will give many local artists as well as international artists a great opportunity to exhibit in one of the biggest and most popular art centers in the world, London, and will give me, as an assistant curator, the ability to start my path in London, and get closer with the city and it’s art life. As an artist, I always start with a question. Not looking for the answer but going deeper and deeper into the root of the question. Where it all starts. I ask a lot. Maybe too much. I am in a constant search, and From that place deep and interesting art comes.
SARA ZARGHANI - Assistant Curator
I have completed my foundation degree in London Metropolitan University and applied at the same university and did a B.A Fine Art there. At the final year exhibition organized by university, I showcased a series of acrylic on canvas nude paintings in shades of black and white. An online Art gallery contacted me and expressed interest in exhibiting a selection of my works on their website (www.newbloodart.com) and at their expo in a venue in south west London.
I have since continued the work that formed my final year project, creating more and more works in that theme. In addition to the online gallery, I have launched my own website to promote my work (www.sarazarghani.com).
DUNCAN GIBB – Assistant Curator
I am a graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London) where I received a joint Honours degree in History of Art and Religious Studies. I am very keen to enter into a career in the arts, especially gallery work, and believe that this position presents a great opportunity to gain some very valuable skills and experience.
A Moving Exhibition particularly appeals to me because of its inclusion of student artists, who may otherwise find it hard to have their work exhibited in such a prominent way in public spaces throughout the London metropolis. The exhibition also interests me greatly for the way in which it will be a moving and evolving entity, adopting new artists as it moves between locations. I think that this is a fresh and interesting idea that mirrors the constantly moving and evolving process of the creation of art and deconstructs the traditional idea of an exhibition containing fixed works in a fixed environment.
